Haven’t you heard? Climate change isn’t real!
Unfortunately, you probably have heard that. Luckily, in a world of preposterous statements, there’s Funny or Die.
“We spent billions of dollars assembling the world’s hottest conservative pop stars to sing a song that we wrote,” said the Koch Brothers (both played in the video by Beau Bridges) at the top of the number.
Lyrics like “NASA’s wrong” and “just a little toasty weather to bring us all together in sunny harmony” make for the perfect climate-change denier spoof, as does the rap portion that claims: “Polars bears are fine, man those bitches can swim.”
But the icing on this comedy cake is the ending. In an effort to get January Jones in on the climate-change denial action, the Koch Brothers call her up and request her participation in the music video.
“It’s 90 degrees out in December, and you want me to deny climate change? This has to be a prank,” Jones sassily says before she hangs up.
