Darren Criss and brother Chuck, of indie band Freelance Whales, teamed up last fall to record a cover of Bob Dylan’s “New Morning” for Amnesty International’s “Chimes of Freedom” tribute album. A music video for the cover has now been released, showing how the song came together in the studio. Watch the Criss brothers put their spin on the classic Dylan track below.
The video shows the brothers both playing acoustic guitar as Darren sings lead on the song and plays a few notes on the keyboard. Between shots of the studio work, the pair can be seen snacking on pizza, playing with a dog and joking around outside.
