UPDATE: On Sunday morning, Haim tweeted from the band account to reassure fans that Danielle is fine after her car crash.
Haim guitarist and lead vocalist Danielle Haim got into a car accident on the way to dFm and Opening Ceremony’s pre-Grammy party on Friday night, sidelining her from that bash as well as Clive Davis’ star-studded soiree on Saturday night (Feb. 7), Billboard has learned.

A rep for the band told Billboard that Danielle is “fine” after the crash. No further details were available at press time and it remains to be seen whether Danielle will attend Sunday’s Grammy Awards, where Haim is up for best new artist.
Bandmates and sisters Este and Alana Haim still attended Friday night’s party, hanging out poolside at downtown Los Angeles’ Hotel Figueroa. Two-thirds of the band was also spotted sitting at Taylor Swift‘s table at the Beverly Hilton for Davis’ can’t-miss pre-Grammy fete.
The sister trio will be spending even more time with Swift this year: They were just announced as the opener for their newfound bestie’s upcoming 1989 tour.
While Danielle is known for playing the guitar and singing with Haim, she’s also a respected drummer, joining the Killers behind the kit in San Francisco back in August.
yo! for those asking, d was in a very small fender bender but she’s totally 110% ok!
