Eleven years after he left us mesmerized with “(Untitled) How Does It Feels,” D’Angelo returns with a new single and physique. The neo-soul singer kicked off his intimate European tour yesterday (Jan. 26) in Stockholm, Sweden.
Fans were treated with a mixutre of classics and new material, including new song, ” Sugar Daddy.” The upbeat tune feautres funky piano riffs, tight harmonies and D’Angelo’s signature wail.
Expect to see more of D’Angelo as he preps his upcoming untitled album, which ?uestlove says is “in the home stretch.” “I know that Fred Wesley and the JB Horns just did a cut that Q-Tip did; I know he’s doing his vocals right now,” ?uestlove told Billboard.com’s The Juice.
