Courtney Love Preps ‘Blonde’ Album, Says Memoir Won’t Be ‘Kissy-Telly’
“It’s a disaster,” Love told the magazine of the current draft of her book. “A nightmare. I never wanted to write a book in my entire life. It just sort of happened. And I have a co-writer, but it’s just not working.”
One of Love’s rules about the autobiography is that she wants the story to stop in 2006. “What happens from 2006 on in the book is my personal business,” she told Paper for a feature story in the magazine’s 30th anniversary issue. “I’ve been discreet from that time on, and I want to keep it that way.”

Last year, Love told Billboard the memoir wouldn’t be a “kissy-telly” affair. “In fact, you’d think I was the Virgin Mary from his book so far — but that doesn’t mean there’s not juicy parts in it,” she said. “It’s just juicy parts about me, not other people.”
Love also talked with Paper about reuniting the original lineup of Hole. She’s hopeful that the rock band’s classic lineup — Eric Erlandson, Melissa Auf der Maur and Patty Schemel — will play together in 2015.
Courtney Love Heading to ‘Sons of Anarchy’ for Final Season
“Me and Melissa and Patty and Eric have rehearsed a few times,” she said. “In order to pull that off, we’d have to make some music that’s relevant to now, and we’d have to get a modern producer. I’m not going to do the oldies circuit. My relationships with Melissa, Patty and Eric are all great. At this point in my life, no one is my enemy. Any grudges or issues with that past? I’m done with it.”
Love is currently prepping for her role in the final season of FX drama “Sons of Anarchy,” which airs this fall. She’s been tapped to play a preschool teacher for the eldest son of the show’s main character Jax, who is played by Charlie Hunnam. Love will appear in multiple episodes of season seven.
