Country Radio Broadcasters will announce today that it has tied with the Academy of Country Music to host the regional Country Radio Seminar (CRS) May 25 in Las Vegas. The seminar takes place the day before the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards.
The regional CRS has traditionally been held in August and lasted two days. Now a half-day event, it will take place this year at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Dick Clark is scheduled to moderate one of the sessions. A showcase later that night will feature acts who have been nominated in the new-artist categories of the ACM Awards.
The awards show, to be held at the same venue, will be hosted by Reba McEntire.
