Columbia Records added five new members to its A&R staff this week, including newly appointed senior VP of A&R, Steve Yegelwel.
Yegelwel moves to Columbia from S-Curve Records where he was executive VP and signed Fountains of Wayne among others. He is based in New York and reports to Steve Greenberg, president of Columbia.
Also reporting to Steve Greenberg are four newly appointed managers of A&R for Columbia; Maria Egan, Maureen Kenny, Beka Callaway and Benjamin Simone. All four are based in New York.
Maria Egan comes to Columbia from Nettwerk Management/Nettwerk America NYC where she was as an A&R manager. Maureen Kenny was the associate manager of A&R for Universal Records. Beka Callaway was most recently an associate director of Writer/Publisher Relations for BMI. Benjamin Simone comes to Columbia from Deston Songs Music Publishing and Management, where he served as creative director.
