MySpace phenom Colbie Caillat has tacked eight songs onto her Universal Republic debut, “CoCo,” and will re-release the set Nov. 11. Among the additions are live covers of Lauryn Hill’s “Tell Him” and Bob Marley’s “Turn Your Lights Down Low.”
The album is rounded out by a version of Dusty Springfield’s “Brand New Me,” Caillat’s contribution to an Olympics compilation, “Somethin’ Special,” the Juanes-featuring “Hoy Me Voy,” “Circles” and an acoustic version of the hit “Bubbly.”
“CoCo” has sold 1.78 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Tracks from the album have sold an astounding 4.7 million digital copies.
Caillat has a handful of international shows on tap this month, including tonight (Oct. 7) in Hindmarsh, Australia.
