As thousands of ravers head to the desert to experience one of the world’s most diverse electronic lineups at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the festival’s dance-centric pillars, Do Lab stage, is taking things up a notch with their surprise guest billings this year.
Fresh off his set earlier in the day at the Sahara tent, Vancouver-bred producer Ekali will bring his glitchy and melodic trap-inspired sounds to the wet-n-wild oasis as he’s been announced as the second surprise guest to hit the decks on the first night of weekend one. He closes out the stage beginning around 11:45pm PT, so if you’re reading this, get over there!
Be sure to check back frequently to Billboard Dance as we bring you more exclusive announcements, recaps and photos of the best and brightest in dance music at both weekends of Coachella.
The Do Lab stage has been an integral part of Coachella for the past 14 years, designing stages and structures that double as art installations and performance spaces. The West Coast-based festival collective will host their staple annual event, Lightning In A Bottle, in Bradley, California on May 23-28.
