As part of Clear Channel Radio’s continued expansion in the Spanish language realm, the network has launched La Preciosa Network, which programs hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
The La Preciosa (The Precious One) format debuted in 2003 in California. From that point on Clear Channel began to work on a network presentation, adding La Preciosa stations to the current number of more than one dozen across the country.
Now, says Clear Channel senior VP of programming Alfredo Alonso, plans are underway to continue expanding La Preciosa in other markets, and conversations are also underway to license La Preciosa to other broadcasters.
Veteran radio and TV personality Victor Manuel Lujan will join La Preciosa’s programming line-up, which also includes morning show host Alex Lucas.
