Clear Channel Entertainment (CCE) has formed a new festival and events group and named Jim Lewi as senior VP and Frank LoPresti as VP. They report to CCE Music co-CEOs Don Law (who also serves as chairman) and Dave Lucas (president).
Lewi and LoPresti will identify new festival content for CCE venues and tours. Lewi most recently was chief of LiveWorks, the tour and event production company that has been involved with the Metallica Summer Sanitarium tour and the HORDE Festival. Lewi will split his time between CCE’s L.A. office and his own office in Aspen.
LoPresti most recently served as executive director of the Rib America Festivals for Sunshine/SFX, a division of CCE. He will continue to work out of CCE’s Indianapolis office. Bill McAffee has been named GM of the Rib America Festivals in his place.
