Circa Survive is currently touring North America in support of is forthcoming fifth LP Descensus, due Nov. 24 on Sumerian Records. To help their worldwide fans keep up, the trippy Anthony Green-fronted band has shared a brand new episode in their video tour diary, which Billboard is excited to premiere below:
The video follows the quintet on a string of U.S. dates in the second week of November, 2014. Picking up from the first installment of the tour webisodes, the new installment begins with a Nov. 14 show in Silver Spring, Md., and follows them through time spent in New York City, Iowa, and Cleveland. You’ll experience goofy vocal practice, members coming very close to falling off skyscrapers, and discussions with toddlers about the meaning of life.
There’s also some killer live footage. Green explains: “The energy of these shows are the most intense of any Circa shows or any tour we have ever done. It’s the best shape the band has ever been in and playing with our friends Tera Melos and Title Fight just make us push ourselves to go harder and play better every night.”
With the release of Descensus four days away, Circa has plenty of time left in its 2014 tour, with almost-daily dates through Dec. 14. Tonight (Nov. 20) finds the band at Denver’s Ogden Theatre.
