
Ciara rocked the red carpet with Big Freedia at her side during the 2019 Met Gala.
Strutting in a black jumpsuit and gold belt with huge fluffy pigtails, the songstress joined the jazz musician, dressed in a coordinating black suit with white accents as the duo twerked and had an absolute blast on the red carpet before the event kicked off.

The two perfectly embodied the costume theme of “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” curated by Andrew Bolton, which is a play on writer Susan Sontag’s seminal essay, “Notes on Camp.” The theme aims for guests to explore fashion’s historically tones of theatricality, humor and exaggeration, complete with over-the-top designs.
