Bit Funk has recorded remixes for artists like Viceroy and Treasure Fingers, so taking on the “Jar of Hearts” singer-songwriter represented a bit of a departure. However, the DJ believes that Perri’s top line on the track was simply too irresistible to ignore.

“As soon as the chorus hit me I knew I wanted to remix it,” says Bit Funk. “I love the energy lift it creates and immediately had the idea to do something that played with half time for the verses coming back to the full energy in the chorus.”
Head or Heart, released in April, was preceded by the Top 40 lead single “Human.” Perri has been supporting the sophomore LP as an opener on Demi Lovato’s recent world tour.
