Chrissy Teigen is soon to be a mom of two, and she apparently not here for baby showers. However, Kris Jenner intervened Friday (Apr. 27) by hosting a surprise celebration for the upcoming arrival of Teigen’s son with her husband John Legend.
“I am crazy super anti baby showers for myself,” Teigen captioned a photo in a series of snaps from the night’s festivities. “Opening gifts in front of people makes me want to die. Receiving gifts makes me very uncomfortable because i feel blessed to the max already and I really hate writing thank you cards with my poor penmanship. But people I love trick me with dinner invites and they happen. Thank you to all friends on both coasts, for knowing me exactly. A mellow night of dinner. Cake. And love. That is all I could ever want for a perfect night.”
Among the star-studded loved ones in attendance included multiple couples: Kanye West with Kim Kardashian, Brooklyn Decker with Andy Roddick and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita. Teigen and Legend have been known to attend gatherings with KimYe in the past; the reality star/rapper pair attended Teigen’s 32nd birthday celebration last year.
The cookbook author, who shared an ultrasound shot of the baby earlier this year, announced her pregnancy last November. Baby No. 2 will join Teigen and Legend’s two-year-old daughter, Luna.
