After headlining Radio One’s One Big Weekend in Glasgow the night before, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joined Kings of Leon for its festival-closing set Sunday to play along with the band’s hit “Fans”.
KoL frontman Caleb Followill introduced Martin, saying: “We’ve got a little treat here. I’d like to welcome the second most famous singer here today to come join us on this song, Mr. Chris Martin He said he’s not gonna sing but we’ll see.”

Martin, in fact, hardly sang at all but in the background at the end a little bit. Still the fans seemed to enjoy it.
“We finally have someone famous in our band,” Followill said afterwards.
