Earlier this month, Toronto rockers Fucked Up released their most ambitious album to date, the stunning “David Comes To Life.” A 78-minute rock opera about love, loss and rebirth, “David Comes To Life” finds the band pushing the limits of just what rock music can achieve these days.
Today (June 21), Fucked Up released the clip for album standout, “Queen Of Hearts,” a track that mixes huge pop-punk guitars, the shattered-glass scream of frontman Damian “Pink Eyes” Abraham, and a guest spot from Cults’ Madeline Follin. The video, however, features neither singer, with vocal duties taken over by a choir of school children. Watch below.

It’s certainly startling at first, but the energy from the kids fits the song perfectly. It’s quite simple, but remarkable all the same. And the fact that the song just rocks certainly doesn’t hurt, either.
