The Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold and Timo Maas lead the lineup for ULTRA.NY, a five-hour-plus electronica concert to be held Sept. 16 in New York’s Central Park. Also on the bill for the event are Erick Morillo, Danny Tenaglia, David Waxman & Boris and Kevens.
Organized by Ultra Records and the Ultra Music Festival, ULTRA.NY is being billed as the first show of its kind to ever play Central Park. It is an outgrowth of the annual Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which drew more than 40,000 people to Bayfront Park earlier this year.
ULTRA.NY will dovetail into the 12th annual Billboard Dance Music Summit, which will be held Sept. 19-21 at New York’s Union Square Ballroom. Although details are not yet finalized, several ULTRA.NY performers are expected to participate in Dance Music Summit events.
