— The FiNATTiCZ: As it soars 88-35 on the Hot 100 with top Digital Gainer honors, “Don’t Drop That Thun Thun!” explodes into the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs top 10 with a 33-10 catapult in its second week on the list. As the song’s popularity continues to build on Vine, it grows by 124% to 77,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan, moving it 12-5 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs. Streaming-wise, the song rises by 161% to 1.5 million U.S. streams, according to Nielsen BDS, enough for a No. 15 debut on R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs and a No. 33 start on Streaming Songs.
— Danielle Bradbery: The recent winner of NBC’s “The Voice” posts her highest debut so far on Hot Country Songs, as her first radio-promoted single, “The Heart of Dixie,” snares the Hot Shot Debut at No. 16. On the Hot 100, it’s also the top new entry, at No. 58. The track arrives with 78,000 downloads sold, a new best sum for the teen singer.
Bradbery racked 10 show-driven charted titles on Hot Country Songs from May through July, thanks to digital sales, with her previous best start, peak and sales week logged via her version of Sara Evans’ “Born to Fly,” which opened at No. 20 (68,000) the week of July 6.
— Panic! At the Disco: “Miss Jackson” (featuring LoLo) launches at No. 68 on the Hot 100 and No. 11 on Hot Rock Songs. The track begins at No. 5 on Rock Digital Songs (56,000), while drawing 434,000 first-week U.S. streams and 882,000 out-of-the-box impressions among 27 Rock Airplay reporters. The song previews the band’s fourth studio album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, due Oct. 8.
— Avenged Sevenfold: At No. 83 on the Hot 100 and No. 12 on Hot Rock Songs, the band introduces its sixth studio set, Hail to the King (due Aug. 27), with the title track. The cut blasts onto Rock Digital Songs at No. 9 (43,000) and Rock Airplay at No. 13 (5 million), while registering 355,000 streams.
— Fifth Harmony: Highlighted in Billboard’s Bubbling Under column just two weeks ago, the quintet translates its exposure on Fox’s “The X Factor” last year to its first Hot 100 hit, as “Miss Movin’ On” debuts at No. 85. The cut starts on Hot Digital Songs at No. 46 (37,000), while drawing 489,000 streams in the chart’s tracking week.
— Paramore: “Still Into You” first charted on the Hot 100 at No. 83 the week of April 27, when Paramore became the band’s first Billboard 200 No. 1 upon its debut, with 80% of the song’s chart points that week owed to sales. As it rises 33-27 on Mainstream Top 40 and 34-31 on Adult Top 40, “Still” returns to the Hot 100 at No. 100, with its split now 45% sales, 31% airplay and 24% streaming.
— Kings of Leon: “Supersoaker” makes a splash on Hot Rock Songs, beginning at No. 18. The first single from Mechanical Bull (due Sept. 24), the band’s first studio effort since 2010, begins at No. 12 on Rock Digital Songs (25,000) and No. 22 on Rock Airplay (4 million) and boasts 243,000 first-week streams.
