Drake has appeared on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart 32 times, with five No. 1s and seven Top 10’s as the lead artist. “Marvin’s Room” is Drizzy’s fourth best debut as a lead artist. “Forever” featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem debuted No. 58 on the R&/Hip-Hop Songs chart, peaking at No. 2, in 2009. “Over” (2010) debuted No. 42 and peaked No. 2 on May 29. “Find Your Love” (2010) debuted No. 54 and peaked at No. 3 on July 3. Drake’s only No. 1 as a lead artist is “Best I Ever Had” (2009) which spent atop for seven weeks.
Within two weeks of it’s debut, “Marvin’s Room” has spawned numerous remixes. The most notable to whip out their own versions of “Marvin’s Room” are JoJo, Teyana Taylor and most recent, Chris Brown.

Who is to say that “Marvin’s Room” won’t hit No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart? Afterall, “Best I Ever Had,” which charted off his mixtape (then released as an EP), “So Far Gone,” went No. 1. Drake’s story — longing for an ex that is with another — has many relating and pressing repeat. “I was drawn by the boldness and honesty of Drake’s lyrics,” JoJo says of “Marvin’s Room.”
Question is, since “Marvin’s Room” is charting will it make an appearance on Drake’s sophomore album, “Take Care”?
