
Charli XCX tweeted late Tuesday (June 9) that she was forced to cancel her scheduled show in Alabama due to a thunderstorm.

The singer was set to perform at Birmingham’s Tin Roof but had to let rain-soaked fans know that the free, all-ages show would not go on as planned, due to some equipment getting broken in the storm.
Before the cancellation tweets, Charli XCX hit the site to let everyone know how much she loved Alabama and Southern accents.
Charli’s next scheduled date is Wednesday at Atlanta’s Turner Field. At the end of July, Charli will begin a summer tour with the Bleachers.
