The Chainsmokers just announced a Blink-182 collaboration set for release Friday, Dec. 6.
An Instagram post to the duo’s account depicts a tropical mountain sunset in pinks and blues with the song title “P.S. I Hope You’re Happy.”
Fans who swipe left are given a second image, marking the forthcoming pop-punk collab as the seventh song from The Chainsmoker’s third LP World War Joy, which like its predecessor has been built one single release at a time.
“P.S. I Hope You’re Happy” is the first collaboration between Blink-182 and The Chainsmokers. The “What’s My Age Again” rockers also released “Why Are We So Broken” with Steve Aoki for the producer’s Neon Future III album in 2018.
The Chainsmokers have likewise worked with a number of other bands, from Coldplay’s Chris Martin to recent collaborators 5 Seconds on Summer on previously-released World War Joy single “Who Do You Love.” 5 Seconds of Summer is even on tour with The Chainsmokers now.
