So your whole Facebook feed is statistical breakdowns of everyone you know’s Spotify listening habits. Tropical house ruled your year. You listened to 50,000 minutes of music. Your most listened to song of the year is “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers and Coldplay — but how many people listened to The Chainsmokers?
As it turns out, 101 million fans across 61 countries listened to The Chainsmokers for 162 million collective hours. That’s a staggering figure, and one that beautifully illustrates the dance-pop duo’s complete domination in 2017. How did some of your other favorite DJs fair? Dillon Francis really racked up the numbers, as did Elephante, Prince Fox and more.
Any artist on Spotify with at least three listeners can log in to the Spotify for Artists dashboard and check their own “Wrapped” page. Check out the artist stats for more of your favorite DJs below, and head into 2018 ready to beat those numbers.
This sort of stuff is so motivating. If you’re an artist Out There never Bet against yourself and keep proving everyone wrong! @Spotify pic.twitter.com/PWnCeEqcy2
