In a genre crossover we didn’t know we needed, a classical cellist has tackled a cover of Slipknot’s “The Devil In I.”
A YouTube user by the name of SugarCello uploaded a video of his take on the metal smash, nodding the band decked in white masks. The cello is hauntingly beautiful, and adds a gorgeous theatrical element to the tune.
“This project was created with love and was driven by passion,” the description reads. “One of the challenges I encountered in the making was to insufflate a more orchestral feel to Slipknot’s material.”
