Celine Dion’s March and April shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas have been cancelled.
In a detailed post on the singer’s Facebook page, Dion cannot perform at the shows from March 27 through April 18. The singer has been suffering for more than a year with a middle ear condition called Patulous Eustachian tube, “which causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing.” While she’s been minimizing the effects with ear drop medications, Dion now must undergo a “minimally invasive surgical procedure.”
In a statement for the post, the songstress expressed, “My luck hasn’t been very good lately… I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…. I just can’t believe it!” In January, Dion cancelled 2 of her shows as a result of symptoms from a lingering cold.
Performances are expected to resume on May 22. See the full post with ticket refund information below.
