Oprah Winfrey made history, delivered an inspirational speech and emerged as one of the great talking points of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.
The talk-show legend, actor and media mogul received the annual Cecil B. DeMille Award during the event Sunday night, becoming the first black woman to earn the accolade which recognizes those who made “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.”
Winfrey paid homage to women everywhere and survivors of abuse in a speech so stirring, some were moved to declare her presidential material.
Musicians and celebs turned to social media to applaud Winfrey. Check out some of the best comments from Pharrell, Sarah Silverman and many more.
