Although his fans have to wait until Nov. 9 for the release of “The Lady Killer,” Cee Lo Green has started hitting the late night circuit in preparation for the album, his first solo release in six years. The Gnarls Barkley frontman performed an uncensored version of his hit “F**k You (Forget You)” on the BBC show “Later with Jools Holland” Wednesday night (Oct. 5).

Decked out in a Pepto Bismol-colored suit (with earrings to match), Cee Lo and his gang of musically talented ladies kicked off the performance with the bassline triggering Cee Lo’s signature line, “I see you riding around town with the girl I love, f**k you.”
Cee Lo could have easily opted for a DJ instead of a live band for the show, but he made the right choice by adding a more organic sound to the most radio-friendly song to drop the f-bomb ever made.

The interlude, which features the singer begging for the girl back, is strong enough to bring chills down your spine. The performance is pure ear candy, and if this is any indicator as to how Cee Lo will sound once he tours behind “The Lady Killer,” there is no doubt the shows will sell out quickly.
