Faisel K. Durrani has been named executive VP of marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment’s music division. Reporting to CCE president of global music Michael Rapino, Durrani will be responsible for marketing and promotion within the music division.
Most recently, Durrani served as senior VP of international marketing for Island Def Jam Music Group, where he developed key sponsorship opportunities with such brands as Coca-Cola, EA Sports and Nintendo; he also played an integral role in creating and implementing strategic marketing initiatives for more than 75 frontline artists, including Ashanti, Bon Jovi and Hoobastank.
Durrani has also served as president of multi-faceted entertainment firm System Recordings, Inc. and as company president at Palm Pictures.
