From injuries to awards, a baby bump, and now the release of a new album, Cry Pretty, it’s been another eventful year for Carrie Underwood.
The country superstar released her highly-anticipated sixth studio album at midnight, featuring the previously-released works “Love Wins,” the Ludacris-assisted “The Champion,” and its title track, “Cry Pretty”.
Underwood co-wrote nine of the 13 songs on Cry Pretty, which she co-produced with David Garcia.
Just hours ahead of release, Underwood shared the music video for “Love Wins.” The song is “hopeful,” she explains. “It’s saying no matter who you are, what you feel, what you think, we’re all human beings. We all deserve love. We all deserve respect and we all should try to show that to one another.”
