Country star and Nashville Predators superfan? Carrie Underwood dominated the national anthem before Game 2 of the Predators’ second round Stanley Cup Playoff series last night (April 29). Rocking a Predators jersey of her own to show love to her husband Mike Fisher, Underwood slayed the performance, belting out each note with pitch-perfect precision.
“Carrie Underwood bringin’ down the HOUSE, as usual,” The NHL on NBC tweeted out.
The Predators are the first team to have surprise guests sing the anthem each game, with Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley and Maren Morris performing it in the first round against Colorado. Past performers have included Luke Bryan, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum.
