Remember when you were watching W&W the other week, and he dropped that massive psytrance tune with the hype chipmunk vocal and the wild sitar sample? You and your bestie were jumping up and down, screaming into each other’s faces all, “what is this?”
Armin van Buuren has also showed support for the unknown tune, as well as NERVO, Blasterjaxx, Kryder, Swanky Tunes, Andrew Rayel, and more. It’s clearly a jam, and as it turns out, it’s a follow-up jam from Carnage and Timmy Trumpet, the two dudes who helped give you the ear-blasting bass anthem “Toca” with KSHMR in 2015. Yeah, you didn’t see that one coming.
“We wanted to write a piece of music that shocks people,” Timmy Trumpet tells Billboard Dance in an email. “Psy trance is quite confronting, but we added a tribal beat underneath which gives it a unique feel. Carnage took it a step further. The last drop is disgusting! I f**kin (sic) love it, and I hope everyone else does too!”
“I wanted to do something different,” Carnage echoes in the email, “so why not bring Psytrance to the Main Stage!”
