The only place you’re going to hear Calvin Harris DJ this year is Hakkasan in Las Vegas, but if you want to just see the “One Kiss” producer behind the decks, you can catch him mid-mix in Times Square. How is that possible? Well, the Scottish hitmaker just made his wax debut as the latest lifelike figure at Madame Tussauds New York.
Harris can now be found rockin’ a silent crowd, surrounded by lights in his natural environment above the dance floor. The debut is part of Madame Tussauds’ Silent Summer Club Series. Partiers are invited to three silent disco parties as part of the “Calvin Harris Experience,” wherein you can dance to electronic music mixes wearing headphones while looking up at the figure, pretending it’s the real deal. It kicks off July 11, with additional parties on Aug. 9 and Sept. 16. Tickets are on sale now.
Later this year, Harris will be joined by new figures of Kylie Jenner and boxer Conor McGregor. Walk right up to him and say “I feel so close to you right now” without any embarrassing repercussions.
