Calvin Harris released the video for “Outside,” his most recent collaboration with the UK songstress Ellie Goulding. The two artists also worked together on the smash hit “I Need Your Love,” which appeared on Harris’s 18 Months album. Watch the “Outside” video below.
“Outside” is the fourth single from Motion, Harris’s latest full-length. It’s about decaying relationships, with Goulding singing lines like, “Fire’s out, what do you want to be?” The video takes this to the extreme, finding both Harris and Goulding in (separate) relationships that are rapidly imploding: there’s fighting, screaming, hair-tearing, and crockery throwing.

Towards the end of the song, Goulding and Harris seem to develop special powers, and Harris stops the plates flying towards him in mid-air and Goulding keeping a motorcycle suspended above her. Outside seems like the safe place to be.
