“Hype” is here, and it indeed features the grime star rapping about how he gets the whole place hype, over a very Calvin Harris-sounding dance beat.
The pair previously collaborated on Dizzee Rascal’s 2008 song “Dance Wiv Me” and on “Here 2 China,” off Harris’ 2012 album 18 Months.
We don’t yet know if “Hype” will find its home on a Harris album. Since Motion came out in 2014, he’s released the Disciples collab “How Deep Is Your Love” and “This Is What You Came For,” featuring Rihanna. Right now, that one sits at No. 6 on the Hot 100, its highest position so far.
And don’t forget — Calvin Harris is headlining Billboard‘s second annual Hot 100 Music Festival, which takes place August 20-21. Click here for tickets and more info.
