The famous Burning Man Festival is heading to Amsterdam in 2017, according to the Dutch edition of Esquire. Burning Man will reportedly make its European debut next year with an event titled “Where The Sheep Sleep” that lasts from July 29 to July 31. Tickets will only be available for those who are registered in the Burning Man Netherlands Facebook group.
A representative for Burning Man was not immediately available for comment.
Earlier this week, Burning Man announced the purchase of a 3,800-acre property in Washoe County, Nevada. “In 2012 we became a nonprofit with the intention of amplifying and extending Burning Man culture,” the festival explained in a statement. “So here we are, taking a big step in that direction. As a year-round site, Fly Ranch has the potential to expand Burning Man Project’s activities and existing programs, as well as amplify Burning Man’s cultural impact into the wider world beyond Black Rock City.”
