Another world was created, another world burned on The Playa. Burning Man 2016 was one for the books. The Black Rock Desert in Nevada swarmed with tens of thousands of artists, hippies, partiers, craftsmen, adventurers, and freaks of all kinds.
Many of them were DJs, and many of those DJs blessed the congregation with transcendental electro-sonic experiences; the kind of aural offering that can only be brought to life in a strange and barren environment meant to be destroyed.
You may never know its true intensity if you weren’t there, but you can taste a wee bit of the magic for yourself. Many thanks to Kenny Hoff of Camp Question Mark, a magical place that built a giant stage in order for a bunch of dance faves to do their thing. What follows is but a smidgeon from his series of videos, and an added bonus clip from the unrelated David Bowie homage temple stage. Enjoy.
