The fate of BTS will be in the hands of players in a new game that’s set to drop later this month.
The long-awaited mobile-based video game BTS World is set to be released on June 25 in the U.S. (June 26 in Asia). During the story-based simulation game, users will be able to manage the septet’s career and make their way through a variety of missions and activities in the game to foster the superstar act as it develops.
The game will feature original music by BTS, and ahead of its release a song by Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook will be released on June 7.
A playable mini-game demo based around BTS World is currently available on its official website, where fans can also pre-register for access.
BTS World is created by Netmarble Corp., which became the second-largest shareholder of Big Hit Entertainment last year. Netmarble is South Korea’s largest game development company, and was founded by Bang Jun-hyuk, the cousin of Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk.
