BTS will make K-pop fans’ summers hotter with a four-date tour.
The septet (aka Bangtan Boys) have announced the latest leg of their 2015 BTS Live Trilogy tour, with the just-announced American part titled “Episode II: The Red Bullet.” The four-date trek will hit the New York, Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles areas in July.
BTS and its members has spending a considerable amount in the U.S. lately. Last summer, the band filmed a reality show American Hustle Life that followed the boys as they spent time in Los Angeles and learned about West Coast hip-hop culture. Last July, the group also performed a surprise concert in Hollywood and returned to L.A. for KCON 2014 a month later. Their time in the U.S. helped them earn co-signs from rap veterans like Coolio (who appeared on American Hustle Life) and Warren G (who collaborated with BTS member Rap Monster on a new single “P.D.D.”
In less than two years after their debut, the band’s landed two entries on Billboard‘s World Albums chart: Both their 2014 EP Skool Luv Affair and debut full-length album Dark & Wild peaked at No. 3 on the chart with the latter release spending four weeks on the ranking.
Ticket information and prices have not been released yet.
