Suga, known among BTS’ Arm fan base as the grandpa of the group, introduced himself by jokingly saying, “What’s poppin’?” before the group graciously acknowledged their fans waiting a long time for the new material, while the band has been fairly quiet on social media.
Next, Rap Monster suggested that they go around and pick their favorite track off the album. Unsurprisingly, Jimin chose his solo track, “Intro: Serendipity.” For V and Jin, “Best of Me” was the winner. Suga’s pick was their first single, “DNA.” And J-Hope then said, “That’s right, the title is the best,” however, his favorite is “MIC Drop.” And Jungkook added that he is partial to “dimple.”
Rap Monster said his favorite song is “Ocean,” according to English translations of the video. Jin replied, “You almost gave out spoilers.” Since that song wasn’t released with the album today, some ARMYs are speculating that this could be a future release:
*fact* BTS will drop in their new album a song call ‘OCEAN’ #LOVE_YOURSELF?

Later, Jin said there are hidden tracks on the album that you can’t find online, while Suga insisted that fans should buy the full set to hear them.
The Bangtan Boys then mused on the versatility of their album’s track list. “There are tracks with many different genres,” V said. “You will definitely find a song you like.”
That penchant for genre-bending is definitely a factor contributing to the group’s widespread appeal — they’ve opted to provide listeners with “the most options to listen to,” said Jimin. “Best of Me,” co-written by the Chainsmokers’ Andrew Taggart, tapped into more zeitgeist-y fare with EDM. The breezy “Outro: Her” samples acoustic piano as the rap-line — Rap Monster, Suga and J-Hope — spits verses about identity and love. Then they parody braggadocio rapping over a reggae beat with lyrics like, “Want to go cruisin’ like NEMO,” even though they “don’t have the money.” (After all, Suga did buy his chain for just $3.)
Aside from the obligatory promotions, the members were savage with each other as usual. When Suga’s parents saw his comeback look, they apparently asked him, “Why are you getting shorter?” Jimin, the shortest member, joked that he thinks he’s taller than Suga now — only to reveal that he wears shoes with thick soles.
In another instance, Rap Monster revealed that when he received his birthday gift from Suga last week, the D-Boy maintained his signature cool — he threw it at Rap Monster, said “it’s here,” then left the room. After all of their success, the meme-worthy K-pop idols clearly haven’t changed.
