Not only did the BTS crew take home their second consecutive Top Social Artist award at Sunday night’s (May 20) 2018 Billboard Music Awards, but they also spent much of the night rocking out to some of the evening’s biggest performances.
In addition to eliciting screams of approval from the crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena every time their name was mentioned, members V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, J-Hope and RM did their fair share of stanning during the performance-packed broadcast.

When they weren’t taking pics backstage with the likes of Taylor Swift and John Legend, BTS sat in their primo seats and showed love for Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa and Shawn Mendes.
The band was caught shimmying in their chairs to Grande’s “No Tears Left to Cry,” kind of freaking over Lipa’s “New Rules,” giving Normani Kordei a standing ovation for “Love Lies” with Khalid, not even bothering to sit down during Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato‘s powerful “Fall in Line,” bobbing for host Kelly Clarkson‘s medley and just plain shouting along to Mendes “In My Blood.”
