If BTS wasn’t already on their way to world domination, this September will put them one step closer: The K-pop superstars just announced that a new album is on the way.
After teasing that new music would be released in September upon announcing their forthcoming Love Yourself series, BTS revealed Wednesday (Aug. 23) that the first installment of the project will be available Sept. 18. Love Yourself ‘Her’ is the first album that is part of BTS’ latest thematic era, the fourth in the boy band’s career following the School, Most Beautiful Moment in Life, and Wings periods. Though there’s not a whole lot known yet about the new concept, the already-released images and videos appear to continue BTS’ introspective themes of past albums with a particular focus on self-love in light of past regrets.
Her will be the BTS’ first release since You Never Walk Alone in February, a repackaged version of Wings, the highest-ranked Korean album on the Billboard 200. Korean media outlet Yonhap reported that the album will be an EP, making it the group’s first since The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 2 in 2015. The Love Yourself series began earlier this month and will continue into 2018.

Love Yourself ‘Her’ will be available for pre-order starting Aug. 25.
