Korean boy band BTS are gearing up to release their highly anticipated album Love Yourself: Tear next week, and they shared several promotional album images Tuesday (May 8) as part of the extended lead-up.
On Twitter, the group’s label Big Hit Entertainment released four sets of pictures that show the septet dressed in casual looks. Divided into “O” and “R,” the 16 images will be available in two of the four different “YOUR” variants that Tear will be sold as. In the new photos, the septet donned donning double denim in the “R” album pics and stars, stripes, and leather in black-and-white “O” images.

Preorders for Love Yourself: Tear have already sold over 1.44 million copies, reports South Korea’s Yonhap. It has already surpassed the group’s 2017 record-breaking EP Love Yourself: Her, which reportedly sold 1.4 million copies last year. Her made history as the first album by a K-pop group to peak within the top 10 of the Billboard 200, where it landed at No. 7 last year.
Love Yourself: Tear is set to be released on May 18, and BTS will perform a new song — reportedly titled “Fake Love”– at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20 in Las Vegas. They are nominated for the top social artist award for the second year in a row.
