K-pop sensations BTS made a huge impression on America this past weekend when they attended the Billboard Music Awards and won the award for top social artist, beating out perennial winner Justin Bieber and other huge pop stars.
Billboard caught up with the seven-member group Tuesday to chat about their win, favorite dance moves, best pickup lines and more, and you can watch the full interview above.
Describing their award as a “dream come true,” BTS shared that they hope it will help pave the way for other K-pop artists in the future.
“Keep up your dreams,” said Kim Namjoon, also known as the Rap Monster. “We did it, we’re just normal boys from Korea.”
The group broke into a rendition of Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Despacito” when asked what their celebration dance for winning a Billboard Music Award would be. They added that fellow boy band *NSYNC influenced them most while growing up.
BTS revealed that a few of their recent splurges include a $400 ring, glasses, and a pair of socks.
