BTS kick off their four-night stint at the Staples Center in Los Angeles tonight (Sep. 5), as part of their Love Yourself world tour, but some members of their ARMY have already been camping out for days, waiting for the show to begin.
Billboard’s Tetris Kelly stopped by the venue to catch up with some of the K-pop band’s biggest fans to find out just how long they have been camping out for and where they traveled from.
One group of fans flew in from Nicaragua just to catch BTS live, noting that they have been planning the trip for months, while another girl mentions that her friends have been camping out for four days.
As Kelly points out, there are three different lines that fans have been queueing for: one for merchandise; one to get into general admission at the show and, ideally, to the front of the crowd; and one to catch the band’s soundcheck.
