Music-streaming platform Spotify released an alternate version of BTS’ new music video for the single “Fake Love” hours after the clip’s release on YouTube.
The vertical format published on Spotify is a shorter cut of “Fake Love,” coming in a minute shorter than the YouTube version. Unlike the original, it doesn’t bisect the song with plot-driven segments, but instead features the music uninterrupted, focusing on the group’s choreography.
“Fake Love” is the lead single from BTS’ Love Yourself: Her, which was released globally on Friday (May 18). They will perform the single at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
The Spotify video is featured on the streaming site’s “This Is BTS” playlist.
