The Recording Industry Association of Japan announced the music recording certifications for the month of April 2018.
<a href=”/music/BTS”>BTS</a>’ FACE YOURSELF album was certified Platinum, while <a href=”/music/Nogizaka-46″>Nogizaka46</a>’s “Synchronicity” was certified Million. The J-pop girl group’s 20th single released April 25 became the third single selling over a million copies in 2018 following <a href=”/music/Keyakizaka46″>Keyakizaka46</a>’s “Glass Wo Ware!” and <a href=”/music/AKB48″>AKB48</a>’s “Ja-Ba-Ja.”
A total of 14 works were certified, including <a href=”/music/NMB48″>NMB48</a>’s single “Yokubomono” and <a href=”/music/Kis-My-Ft2″>Kis-My-Ft2</a>’s album Yummy!!, both certified Platinum in their respective categories.
