After a month-long break that ended with South Korea’s Chuseok holiday over the weekend, BTS returned to work today (Sept. 16).
Members of BTS were spotted at the Seoul-adjacent Incheon Airport, leaving the country.
“Wrapping up its extended vacation, BTS departed overseas this morning for an engagement abroad,” Big Hit Entertainment told South Korean media, and later confirmed to Billboard.
Reports say the group is traveling to film a television show, but Big Hit did not elaborate.
BTS began the several-week break on Aug. 11, when Big Hit issued a statement sharing the news. “This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators. This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly,” the statement read.
BTS is set to bring their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Seoul, South Korea next month.
