BTS released their first new song since September, “Crystal Snow,” and it’s a sentimental ballad evocative of the winter season.
Jin’s high notes have been getting a lot of love on social media, while RM is noted for his ability to express longing for a temporary love. But all seven members shine on the Japanese single, which continues their entry into their neighbor country.
The track was included on their Japanese single album, MIC Drop/DNA/Crystal Snow, which became available across music sites on Wednesday (Dec. 6). Like everything else the septet touches, the three songs are accessible online despite the fact that they’re geared toward a market that is ruled by physical sales.
To celebrate the release of “Crystal Snow,” here are some of the best reactions from the BTS ARMY on Twitter.
The boys know how to get ARMYs in touch with their feels.
Emotional songs like sea and crystal snow are really speak to me that’s what sets BTS apart from everyone else to me other groups music just don’t speak to me the way BTS does

One ARMY broke down BTS songs by the seasons.
Winter= Crystal Snow ??
Spring= Spring Day —
Summer= Fire —
Autumn= Autumn Leaves–#CrystalSnow_BTS— ` (@Armys_Crew) December 6, 2017
A creative fan wrote a dialogue that personified the songs “Crystal Snow” and “Spring Day.”
Spring day &Crystal snow conversation
Crystal : Sis I’m nervous, will I make armys happy?
Spring day: who wrote me?
Crystal : Namjoon hyung
Spring day: whatever he touches becomes golden
Crystal : I made armys cry, they love it–
Spring day: I told you.#CrystalSnow_BTS

Fan theories are swirling around the relationship between the two songs.
Crystal Snow is Spring Day in disguise. The only difference is one was born in Japan and the other was in Korea. @BTS_twt pic.twitter.com/QyfkkAVN0V

Asking the right questions.
Who gave them the right to make a Bop like this? #CrystalSnow_BTS pic.twitter.com/zaxtx0kTtJ

This ARMY dissected BTS’ penchant for owning any concept.
Crystal Snow is proof of BTS versatility as artists. They are capable of making energetic, hardcore bops like Fire & MIC drop, but can also make soft sounding, easy on the ears & sentimental, songs like Crystal Snow & Spring Day. Legends. #CrystalSnow_BTS

“Crystal Snow” is full of meaning.
Crystal snow makes me think “this almost feels like what ARMY feels for BTS”
like the ARMY bombs are like crystal snow, and the concert is that moment that we want to freeze, to spend more with @BTS_twt to reach out for them a little longer.I’m crying soo hard.#CrystalSnow_BTS

Get you a K-pop group that can do both.
?–Crystal–Snow–?
I got into BTS because of their rapping, but I stayed because of their sentimental ballads.

BTS and ARMYs have a special relationship.
Jungkook: “can I touch your heart?”
Me: “but…. but you already have” ??♥?
