Bruno Mars brought retro glamor to the stage for Super Bowl XLVIII, scoring a style Touchdown at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The singer hit the stage performing a solid gold lineup of “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Treasure,” and a romantic rendition of “Just the Way You Are.” Equal parts Prince, Michael Jackson and James Brown, Bruno worked a retro gold lame jacket paired with a white shirt, black trousers and a matching skinny tie by French fashion house Saint Laurent. Bruno is no stranger to Saint Laurent, having rocked the Parisian designer threads on numerous occasions. As for Mars’ hair, it was just as “big and angular” as his hairstylist Jason Schneidman told us it would be.

Mars was backed by an eight-piece band, complete with a horn section that rocked the same golden threads, proving this singer can still shine brightest onstage, even when blending in.
Bruno shared the Super Bowl stage with Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band’s frontman, Anthony Kiedis showed off his sexy 51-year-old body performing shirtless in Jeremy Scott leggings paired with black shorts. The digital patterned look was hot off the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 runway. 50-years-old never looked so good.
