In the midst of his River Tour, Bruce Springsteen just wrapped his five-show swing through England and Ireland and in case you missed any of his European tour dates, he’s releasing each one as a live album. One show a week will be available starting June 15, with each also receiving a broadcast on the Boss’ SiriusXM E Street Radio channel.
Fans can pre-order any of the shows as MP3s, lossless FLAC or ALAC, high-resolution 24 bit FLAC-HD or ALAC-HD and collectible three-CD sets. The River Tour: Europe 2016 kicked off with a May 14 show in Barcelona and included stops in Lisbon, Madrid, Dublin and London; it will continue through a July 31 date in Zurich. Fans who buy all 28 shows will get a 10 percent discount on their orders.
According to Springsteen’s official site, he will also release his beloved solo acoustic performances in support of the Christic Institute at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium from November 1990, The Christic Shows, November 16 & 17, 1990. The two-night stand featured the premiere of four then-new songs from the rocker’s Human Touch album (“Real World,” “57 Channels (and Nothin’ On),” “The Wish” and “Soul Driver”), as well as the premiere of “Red Headed Woman” and “When the Lights Go Out.” Both shows — which featured guest spots from Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne joining Springsteen for Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61 Revisited” and Ry Cooder’s “Across the Borderline,” will be available as a three-CD set and as downloads.
